Bottom Bracket Machining includes chasing threads to make sure they are clean, accurate and square. Followed by machining the outer faces until they are square and smooth.
This is done to ensure the Bottom Bracket Bearings are completely aligned when installed, allowing them to spin freely, reducing watt sapping drag and maximize life.
